Terms & Conditions

LR-Websites
Operator: Leo Rannila
Obstgartenstrasse 13, 8136 Gattikon
Switzerland

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all contracts between LR-Websites, operator Leo Rannila (hereinafter "LR-Websites"), and its customers regarding the design, development, and provision of websites and related services. They also apply to all future business relationships with the same customer, without the need to refer to them again each time. Deviating, conflicting, or supplementary terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless LR-Websites has expressly agreed to their applicability in writing.

2. Contracting Party

The contracting party is LR-Websites, operator Leo Rannila, Obstgartenstrasse 13, 8136 Gattikon, Switzerland, reachable at zleo.management@gmail.com. LR-Websites provides its services to small and local businesses in Switzerland.

3. Scope of Services

LR-Websites offers website creation in the Standard, Premium, and Elite packages. The respective scope of services results from the package description published on the website under "Pricing" as well as from any individual agreement:

  • Standard – CHF 390: one-page website with up to 3 main sections, design adapted to the business, mobile-friendly implementation, integration of texts and images supplied by the customer, contact details and contact options, basic SEO setup, 1 feedback round, publication after approval.
  • Premium – CHF 690: 3–5 agreed pages, design adapted to the business, mobile-friendly implementation, integration and basic formatting of the supplied content, contact form where appropriate, basic SEO setup, 2 feedback rounds, assistance with publication.
  • Elite – CHF 990: 6–10 agreed pages, individually designed layout, mobile-friendly implementation, integration and basic formatting of the supplied content, standard contact functionality, basic SEO setup, assistance with domain and email settings, 3 feedback rounds, publication and final technical checks.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the package prices do not include in particular extensive copywriting, photography, complex functionality or third-party costs (e.g. domain, hosting, email, paid plugins). Other services such as the redesign of existing websites, setting up or optimising a Google Business Profile or a visibility check are governed by the description on the website and the individual agreement.

Services that are not expressly part of the selected package or an individual agreement are not owed.

4. Conclusion of Contract

The contract is concluded as soon as LR-Websites and the customer have agreed on the selected package or the individual service, as well as on the agreed price. Confirmation may be informal, in particular in writing by email.

5. Customer's Duties to Cooperate

The customer shall provide the materials required to create the website – in particular texts, images, logo, and company information – in a timely and complete manner, and shall respond promptly to queries. Delays caused by missing materials or delayed feedback from the customer will extend the agreed project timelines accordingly, without LR-Websites being responsible for this.

6. Content, Images, and Third-Party Rights

The customer is solely responsible for all content provided by them – including texts, images, logos, and trademarks – and warrants that they hold the rights required for its use. Where licensed third-party content is used within the project (e.g. stock images or fonts), the scope and duration of the usage rights are governed by the respective provider's licence terms. If a third party asserts claims against LR-Websites for infringement of rights due to content provided by the customer, the customer shall indemnify LR-Websites against such claims to the extent permitted by law.

7. Revisions and Change Requests

Within the agreed feedback rounds, LR-Websites makes adjustments to the project within the originally agreed scope of services. The number of included feedback rounds depends on the selected package:

  • Standard: 1 feedback round
  • Premium: 2 feedback rounds
  • Elite: 3 feedback rounds

Change requests that go beyond the agreed scope of services or the included feedback rounds may, following prior agreement with the customer, be billed separately based on the effort involved.

8. Additional Services and Changes to Project Scope

Should the customer wish additional services or an expansion of the originally agreed project scope during the project period, these will only be implemented following prior agreement on the additional effort and its remuneration.

9. Domain and Hosting

LR-Websites supports customers on request with setting up domain and hosting. The costs for domain and hosting are not included in the package prices unless expressly agreed otherwise, and are borne by the customer. LR-Websites assumes no responsibility for the services, availability, or terms of domain or hosting providers.

10. Project Duration and Completion

Anticipated timeframes for completion are agreed individually between LR-Websites and the customer. Deadlines are subject to the customer's timely cooperation pursuant to section 5 and timely payment pursuant to section 12.

11. Acceptance and Publication

After completion of the agreed feedback rounds, the website is presented to the customer for acceptance. The handover or publication of the completed website may, to the extent legally permissible, be made contingent upon receipt of the agreed payment.

12. Prices and Payment

The prices agreed upon conclusion of the contract apply, according to the selected package or the individual quote. Payment is made in accordance with the agreed invoicing and payment terms. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, costs for domain and hosting are not included in the package prices and are borne separately by the customer.

13. Cancellation / Termination of the Project

If the customer cancels the project after it has started, LR-Websites may charge a flat fee of CHF 50 to cover the effort incurred up to that point. Further statutory rights of the customer, in particular mandatory statutory rights of termination or withdrawal, remain unaffected.

14. Usage Rights

Upon full satisfaction of the agreed payment obligations, the customer receives the agreed usage rights to the website created for them. Materials provided by the customer remain the property of the customer; licensed third-party materials remain subject to the respective licence terms. LR-Websites claims no ownership of materials belonging to the customer or third parties.

15. Defects and Remediation

If the delivered website deviates from the agreed scope of services, the customer shall notify LR-Websites promptly, describing the issue as precisely as possible. LR-Websites will remedy justified defects within the agreed feedback rounds. Further statutory warranty rights remain unaffected to the extent mandatorily prescribed by law.

16. Liability

LR-Websites is liable for damages arising in connection with the provision of its services only in the case of intent or gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability – in particular for personal injury and for intent and gross negligence – is neither excluded nor limited by these Terms. LR-Websites does not guarantee any specific Google rankings, SEO results, visitor numbers, customer numbers, revenue, or other business success through the website created.

17. Third-Party Providers

In providing its services, LR-Websites may rely on third-party services, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, or other technical service providers. LR-Websites cannot guarantee the availability or performance of such third-party services and is not liable for their outages or malfunctions.

18. Confidentiality

LR-Websites and the customer shall treat confidential information exchanged in the course of their collaboration, that is recognisable as such, confidentially, and shall not disclose it to third parties without the other party's consent.

19. Data Protection

Information on the processing of personal data in the course of the collaboration and when visiting the LR-Websites website can be found in the separate LR-Websites privacy policy.

20. Applicable Law

Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory statutory provisions.

21. Place of Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland, to the extent legally permissible.

22. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In place of the invalid or unenforceable provision, a valid and enforceable arrangement shall be deemed agreed that comes as close as legally possible to the economic purpose of the original provision.
